Trying to Conceive- Many Different Methods

By: AmyBass

In this modern age of technology there are many more choices before us than ever before. Choosing methods to help you conceive are one of these choices. There are many different methods you can choose from when trying to concieve. This article is going to go in depth on just a few of those methods.

One of the easiest methods for trying to concieve is with a fertility monitor. They enable you to quickly and easily determine what level of fertility you are experiencing every day. Some fertility monitors test urine, while others test saliva. The point is that with fertility monitors all the tracking is completed for you. The only concern with trying to concieve by fertility monitors is the high initial costs.

This is what brings us to ovulation tests. These are a much less expensive method than fertility monitors because they are cheap and plentiful. It is recommended to keep enough ovulation tests to test on a daily basis through the fertile period of your cycle. This is usually staring from day 8 all the way up to day 21 depending on how long your menstrual cycles usually are.

Another trying to concieve method would be by checking your cervical mucus every day. If your cervical mucus is dry or crumbly then it is not very fertile. As your cervical mucus progresses from sticky to creamy you are beginning to get a bit more fertile. Your cervical mucus hits peak fertility when it has the feel of raw egg whites. After this point you will start to see your cervical mucus change towards dry again.

It is always enjoyable to take pregnancy tests during the two week wait after ovulation. I have been able to get a positive result as little as ten days after I ovulated. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get a positive pregnancy test right away. Depending on when the egg may have implanted, it may take a bit longer for a positive result to show up.

Overall there are many options for trying to concieve. What method you choose to use all depends upon your budget and your preferences. I wanted to find the best prices possible on fertility monitors, ovulation tests and pregnancy tests online. I put these resources together in one location to save other women from having to spend hours shopping around. You can find discount fertility products at www.FertilityByNature.com
